MiGol Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
MiGol is operated by Chu Ventures (“Chu Ventures”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use the MiGol mobile application ( “App”).

2. What we collect
- Account data — email address, username, first name, and last name that you provide when you create an account.
- Authentication data — your session token, stored encrypted on your device using the iOS Keychain (expo-secure-store). We never see your raw session token.
- Activity data — the Quinielas you create or join, the match score predictions you submit, and your top-scorer picks.
- Token requests — if you submit a request for virtual Quiniela tokens, we store the message and requested amount you provide.
- Device & app data — Expo/React Native runtime information used solely to deliver push notifications if you opt in (we do not currently send marketing notifications).
We do not collect payment information, precise location, contacts, photos, or any biometric data.
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
- To display your predictions, standings, and token balance within the App.
- To process token requests and notify you of approval by email.
- To respond to support enquiries sent to our email address.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the platform.
We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
4. Virtual tokens
Quiniela tokens are virtual only. They have no monetary value and cannot be purchased, sold, transferred to real money, or exchanged outside the App. Entry fees and prizes denominated in tokens are a social game mechanic within your friend group and do not constitute real-money gambling or wagering.
5. Who we share data with
We use Supabase (supabase.com) as our backend database and authentication provider. Your data is stored on Supabase-managed infrastructure. Supabase is GDPR-compliant; their privacy policy is at supabase.com/privacy.
We do not share your personal data with any other third-party services, advertisers, or analytics providers.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), your account and all associated personal data are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate statistics (e.g. total prediction count) may be retained indefinitely.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hi@chuventures.com. We will respond within 30 days.
You can delete your account at any time directly inside the App: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and does not require contacting us.

8. Children
MiGol is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
Your session credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain via the device Secure Enclave and are never transmitted in plaintext. All network communication uses HTTPS/TLS. Access to our backend is protected by row-level security policies enforced by Supabase.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
